Spent a few evenings putting a little tractor together out of scrap I had around the farm. Just had to buy a roll of chicken wire. Put my 3 week olds out in the sunshine today.

Nice love the colour,
Chicken wire on the other hand ..... not a good idea.

Almost any predator can rip threw it,
Including dogs
Especially on the top where they can lie on it..

Hardware cloth is sooo much more secure...
 
I just got through making the base of my coop! No roof yet( the chicks are still about >3 weeks). Gonna leave it in the garage until it warms up enough and I finish the roof.
