Can you hatch eggs from a bird that has or had a cold if do so will it pass on to chicks and if it dose will the chicks pass on to others chicks

Chickens don't get colds. What the birds have is a chronic respiratory illness. Depending on which one, yes, it can pass through the eggs to the chicks.

Agreed. To add, even if it does not pass through the egg, she is highly likely to give whatever illness it is to the chicks. It's not worth the effort IMO. When i got my initial chickens, one of them had a respiratory issue and it spread to the others, and chicks thereafter. Only after two years do I now have a flock that I am confident does not have the illness (and that's including vaccinations).
