Hi,
I have 4 ducklings about 8 weeks old. Now that they have about half of their feathers I've been taking them out and letting swim in our pond. Being little they don't leave the cove and just have a blast foraging the edge and swimming around. This is until the Drake that is a year old shows up. He is a black Swede and has honed in on the smaller khaki. He relentlessly chases it down tries to mount it. I assume it's a female. I'm forever having to hop in the water to pull him off. He doesn't have the time of day for the other three although I'm 99% sure one of them is a female. It's quacking very strongly. What do I need to do to get the Drake to knock it off?
