Any have any experience with chickens in a kind of scorpion infested area? Who kills who? Ed

We have tons of scorpions around here. I couldn't tell you if the chickens have found any or not, but I haven't had any strange chicken deaths while they are out foraging. Mostly, the chickens eat the bugs the scorpions feed on, so, maybe they'll starve them out and the scorpion will find someplace else to hang out.

I suspect that a chicken would most likely eat the scorpions. The eat small snakes. A few quick pecks to kill or disable the scorp, then it's snack time. This is just a guess, though, we don't have many scorps around here.

Chickens eat scorpions.( I think chickens eat EVERYTHING!)
My first experience with a chicken happened several years ago when my cat brought a chick into the house and dropped it at my feet. Boomer became our house chicken, roosting inside at night and following me around the garden during the day.
One day I decided to reorganize the rock border around my flower bed. Boomer was nearby. I picked up a few rocks and under one was a little scorpion. Quick as lightning, Boomer had it in her beak, its tail arching toward her eye. She gobbled it down after two quick jerks of her head! No apparent ill effects!
