buy the way im not mad.. i wosent talking to the poster i was talking to jak2002003 and i know you dont think that the cat deserved it but i have had cats before and then how come they knew never to jump up on the table of the stove??? well i guss this cat was not as smart. and i have seen one of my cats take and kill a wild rabbit before.and it made me really mad. but im not saying just becuz its a pet its better then wild rabbits.. i think wild rabbits are just as importent as pet rabbits and people sould not let there animals kill other animals inless hey are hunting dogs and only hunt with people. witch i dont think cats can do. thats why dogs are used..... anyway i would still say that cat deserved it cuz what if it was one of the kids to get bit and they got rabies or got sick and then the cat would deserve it... im sayin that the cat wouldent care if the rabbits owner got sick even if it knew they were sick... read jak's post i bet if you look agan you will see the word (cruelty) in it.. and but what if the rabbits owner got rabies and got killed cuz of the cat. and then the cat would deserve it! but its not like the cat would care... and im not compareing the cat to a human and why would i? cats are not humans and they think difrant.. for sort (humans are smarter) well some times. and i wasent mad or venting it just made want to tell them the truth and um. i dont think you could get fined for animal cruelty if you were trying to save your on pet lol

Cruelty laws are very strict. The thing is, I don't like what the cat did any more than you do. I just have to say, the cat doesn't DESERVE it. I understand what you are trying to say, but by saying an animal deserves something is comparing it to a human being. Why do you think animals shouldn't hunt? It is in their nature. That's like saying that humans shouldn't kill animals food. It may not be perfect, but people need to eat. So do animals. Hunting is part of their lives. And how is a cat not smart just because it attacked a rabbit that was fair game? That is totally unrealistic. A cat not jumping on a stove is very different than a cat killing a rabbit. I don't mean to pick on you, I'm just a little confused and would like to hear your perspective...

Agreed. Rabbits are prey animals, cats are predators. Cats don't understand property lines. Leave the bunny loose, a cat could get it. This is life.

I definitely do not mean to bully you at all. I was just interested. In life, many people will not agree with you, but if everyone thought the same way, the world would be a boring place, would it not?
