I know that this is an old thread, but... we too found a weasel outside of our barn/coop this morning. Our cat Spinner, is just a normal outdoors tabby. At first it was laying upside down, so I thought it was a rat, but on closer inspection, it had a long thin body.. and the head looked much different than a rats.

Brown top, white underbelly from under the chin to rear. Black tail.
Not sure yet what I am going to do for the kitty, but I am sure glad he is around.
