I was planning to put sheets of foam insulation in the coop Jr and I are building.....is there a problem with that?....think they'll pick at the foam?....

Mr. Dad, I have already read on this site where chickens will eat styrofoam like candy. Might want to look up the topic and read it. It might persuaed you not to insulate with foam. Is there anyway you could put a sheet of wood to cover it over so the chickens would not learn it is there? Good luck with your decision. Johnny

Thanks Johnny....yeah I could cover it.....

I'm not sure I even need it be honest with you....it's 3/4 in plywood, house wrapped, and cedar shakes will soon be the siding......my main concern is the nail tips inside the coop....maybe I'll panel it and probably insulate anyway while I'm at it......

I updated our progress pics Johnny
