Can you make a rooster not crow?

Sorry if this is the wrong spot but can you get a rooster not to crow? Can you like take out the voice box or something? Do they sell something that dose not allow them to crow?

Thanks

ewww,  I don't know about all that...

I do know...Getting a Roosters to stop crowing is like trying to stop a bear from pooping in the woods.... http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-laughing021.gif

I've heard they can't crow if they can't stretch their necks but it seems cruel to keep them in a little box sad Our roo, Joe, has a bachelor pen in the garage he stays in at night. We figured at least there his crow won't be as bothersome to the neighors. During the day he's out with the rest of the chickens.

The only sure fire method is to send him to freezer camp.
