Show off your chicken names!!!

Well I don't have my chickens YET but when I do get them their names will be Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia after the Golden Girls and maybe a Phoebe, Monica and Rachel and a Rosanne and Jackie, depending on how many hens I get... (4 for sure!)! The breeds I want are Barred Rock, Rhode Island Red, Austrolorp, and Silver Laced Wyanndotte!!!

Sir Charles, Fiona, LIttle Fiona, Buddy, Spike, Little Spike, Elvis and Pricilla. I have more chickens than that but not all have names. I have a very small Sizzle that is slow to develop. She is about half the size of her clutch mates. She is healthy and other than just developing slower she has no other problems. She is actually smarter than the others even though her head is very small. She is white. Can anybody suggest names for her. She is very gentle and will be a pet and not used for breeding. Don't really want to pass along the slow development to others and don't want to rehome for fear she won't be treated right. She is 3 months old and just a handful of fluff with legs and a head.

Naming them is half the fun.

We have two Red Stars Named Miley and Torchick then we have two new chicks one named Pedro who is a black ancona(not sure how to spell) and Pecky who is a white rock

I'm not one to name most of my chickens but when I was in highschool and actually showing chickens I would name the ones that were 'fair-worthy'. Each year had a theme and here were a couple groups:

1999's theme was Cigarette/tobacco brands:
Pall Mall
Lucky Strike
Loredo
Morley
Virginia Slim (a hefty Orpington rooster)
Benson & Hedges (two seperate roos)
Red Man

2000 saw the theme of German cities captured in WWII:
Danzig
Stettin
Memel
Elbing
Breslau
Konigsberg

2001 were named after major blood vessels in the human body:
Carotid
Jugular
Hepatic
Superior Vena Cava
Inferior Vena Cava (ironically became the larger of the two)
Renal

I guess I'm a little strange and it's probably for the best that I don't usually name chickens anymore.

Silkies- Ivy, Rose, Poppy, Luna, Mishka, and Juno

Cochins- Dot, Spot, Speck, and Chip

Duckwings- Sarge and Lily

We have some chicks right now, 17 or so, but the ones we are keeping are:

Rosecomb/Cochin mixes- Olivia, Cessna, and Tessa

Frizzle Mottled Cochin- Sycamore

The thing I love about naming them is I know each of them by their name, even the identical looking mottleds, sometimes by the way they interact, but just the look they give (Dot is very sweet elegant, and Speck is the spawn of Satan for example). Mom just says that chicken in the top left pen that is not the rooster and not the mean one LOL.
