Do you really care? I AM a redneck and dang proud of it! My lil brother sings green acres anytime he visits.
An injured chicken is best kept apart from others as they tend to recover best that way. That's pretty simple and not really redneck.
 
You say that like it's a bad thing! Seriously, we can be called lot's of things, but's that not one I would be ashamed of....certainly not for caring for my pets or animals.

I have heard a million times "normal " educated people do not have chickens in the house.
my answer is usually: Are you sure? All my friends do .

Redneck- I have always wore that tag kinda proud whole lot goes with it- so I will not get the thread locked up I won't put those ideas here!

It isn't till you have company and have to move a chicken so they can sit down that you have a problem --

Western NY - You should see the reaction I get from my old friends in Buffalo I spent 15 years East Side - City Resident to run a homeless shelter for teenage females- they see my chicken photos and are just dumbfounded . Yea life changes !!

Geez ..I was just saying what someone said to me today. I was not trying to offend anyone nor did I call anyone anything.
