I have 8 month old Red Sexlinks and am getting what would be termed "large" brown eggs from them...6 hens and an average of 4 to 5 eggs a day. I've read that the sexlinks tend to lay a LOT and have big eggs, so I'm going to wait and see if maybe as they settle in more and get a bit older, they may produce larger ones. Even if they don't I'm perfectly happy with what we get...they're delicious and we're getting enough that we're starting to have to gift them to friends since they're producing more than we're using.

My ISA Browns lay nice large brown eggs. I usually get 2 giant double yokers a week. I have 5 hens ^^

do you all have pictures of some of the chicks and a grown hen and roo. I bought jumbo eggs at a local farmers produce stand and you could barely get the carton shut. I put them in the bator and this morning they are hatching out. I laughed so hard when I put the first to hatch in the brooder. Jumbo is twice as big as my week old frizzle-silkies in the brooder.
