I was at the doctor's getting my ankle Xrayed and we got to talking about how our lovely country is so divided and basically all our rights and freedoms are being taken away and that we should rise up and have a "Texas Tea" party.

Monsanto is the friendly company who developed GMO corn and soy, and lobbied the governement so that it doesn't have to be labled. Europe won't buy many American agricultural products due to our food laws. Virtually all soy and corn grown in this country is GMO, it is feed to the livestock, and high fructose corn syrup is in everything. The cool part about all this is that the corn is not modified for better production, increased nutrition or less fertilizer use but has been altered to resist Roundup. That's called better livin' through chemisty.

it's time to take back our country. I'm not saying with guns and fighting. I mean the Soft War. You must make your voices heard, and don't use the e-mail system. You can go to the Guns America website, and you can get all the addresses of all your representatives including all media in your area. Use it to get the addresses etc you need. Then write them a letter and use a stamp. E-mails they can blanket reply too. Letters they have to deal with. Do it, do it about everything you feel strongly about (one issue per letter please). We've been a bunch of lazy butt doofus's too long. Let your voice be heard and heard often. Get all your friends to do it. It's time we all wake up and remember the sacrifices our founding fathers made for us. DO IT! ok, I'll turn off the soapbox now.​
 
The biggest problem we face today with dealing with the government is that most people will not voice an opinion to the government. Instead they complain to everyone else about how bad things are getting. The old saying "You can't fight city hall" is the new way of life for many.

People will rip each other to bits on the internet over issues they feel strongly about. if only that energy could be channelled to a venue that would make a difference.
