Yes indeed, That is the going rate over here!!!!
especially the banties, I cant keep up the supply for the demand, i may need to get a bator to breed more little bunkins!!!
And the white mallard ducks are very rare around here.
I guess we havent got as many breeders in my area and Im well known to the small breeding community!!!
The price is exactly the amount which i paid for the foundation breeding stock !!

yep, forty whole dollars!!!!!and some people sell them for more than I do!!!even $150 if they are top quality show stock, which mine are ( the foundation stock are show winners)!
Bear in mind that a dozen free range eggs here costs $5.00 and a dozen fertilized eggs are $25

Yes, im sorry that this sounds rich, what do your top silkies sell for over there????
Honestly im not out to rip anyone off, this is the price that we pay over here!
perhaps ill have to take the price off the webpage if its going to cause frowns!!
The bloodlines are the best in the state!!the breeder that i got the parents from won at our biggest show in Australia with them and she sells them after she has bred from them.

no bantymum im not trying to cause harm just over here a silkie / chickens duck arent normally that much, but over ther i understand thats a good deal. somtimes i forget you live in aussie

Thanks, I feel a bit better now, my heart was in my big toe.
Honestly Ill try to upload some ads which are on over here, but I know Our pricing is different for alot of things,
for eg "petrol is $1.25 a litre.
I have seen eggs for sale over there for $1.50 a dozen
ours are $5!!
Our standard xbred laying hens pullets are $15.00 each
how does that compare?

Looks good. I don't think your prices are out of range.

My layers go for 10-15, and that is what I see them listed for each too.

As for show birds. I spoke with one lady way back when, and her chicks were $10 each, with her cull roosters up for $15 each.

Ducklings from the feed store are about 10 bucks a pop. Your regular layer is 3-5.

Prices really depend on cost of living per area and what is in demand.
