Chickens love rain?

I'm in western Oregon. The chickens quickly learn to accept the rain or never see daylight. They choose to go out in the rain and mist to forage and dash under cover for the down pours and hail. There's a reason our sports teams are named Ducks and Beavers; we're always wet. Which does grow the best darn tiger and banana slugs for chicken tug of war.

Mine will generally stay out of the coop unless it is pouring down. They find a bush or huddle under the wood shed if they get caught too far from the coop in a heavier rain. And they love the worms & slugs the rain brings out.
