The standard is 12" x 12" HOWEVER

I made mine about 14" x 14"

I also I made mine on the outside of the coop.  It saved me lots of floor space inside and created a simple easy way of collecting eggs from the outside smile

SPARROW MINISTRIES- Luke 12
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

With love and kindness we would like to offer a token of nourishment for not only the body but for the soul also

Mine are 10x10x12 due to lack of carpentry skills. Will this work for now?

Mine are also 10 x12X12
The advice about putting outside the coop is great.  I wish I had done that and I think I will be making that revision.  It would give them so much more room inside the coop.
