Have you considered Green Dragon ??? Bantams have been bringing fair money for roos this time of the year,,,, have seen some bring $7,,, and they weren't anything special,,,, all depends on who is there and what they're looking for. It's a crapshoot, but it's a shot.

And "confiscated" one as well, LOL. He's in the basement, crowing up a storm now. He's stuck in a parrot cage, so I'm sure he's not really all that thrilled with the limited space, but he'll get a nice run with some ladies once we move. I'm thinking about putting my silkie/EE hennie in there, along with my partridge pullet. Just to give him something until the end of summer or if I find some other calicos or salmon girls, LOL. You've created a monster!

BTW, was the red a relative? Oh, and do you have pictures of the little pullet that you can't sell? LOL.

Squeeee! I am going on Saturday to pick up 7 new breeding cages! They are 5' x 2.5' x 2.5' - perfect for the bantams! I was building 8'x2'x2' pens and they were going to cost way more than these seven metal ones. I <3 Craigslist!
