Dark Orange yolks?

My girls love turnip & beet greens- cantaloupe-tomatoes- corn on the cob and all the bugs they can eat (even a lizard) and the one who is laying eggs (yes only one so far) has super dark/yellow/orange yolks and the most delicious flavor!
They don't like carrots though:)

They DO love beet tops! I also pick up the alfalfa cubes that fall on the ground from the horses and put them in some water and leave that around for the girlies who love it if the turkeys or geese don't get them first.
