I would far rather have fuzzys for a brooder than have to deal with eggs. BTW - my husband wants duckies in spring so I may be asking you for info on those buff ducks (temperament, etc)

Steff when are you hatching. I'm retiring from hatching for a bit

you can use mine

Cheryl, I'll be incubating whenever tls_ranch has eggs for me. If you're not incubating at the time, I might take you up on that. If you are, I'll be FORCED to buy a 'bator.

Oh, and I just got my second egg from one of my Barnevelders.

Here's a pic. 4 of the eggs are from Buff Orps. The two tiny ones are Barnie eggs. Not sure if I have one or two Barnie chicks laying. I want to say two, based on the heavy speckling on the latest egg.

They might look cuter in the pic than in reality. Remember, the eggs at the top right of the circle are Goldy and Freckles' eggs. Goldy lays eggs that are almost as dark as the Barnies.

I just turned around and I swear, the chicks doubled in size today. Seriously this is freaking me out! They're freaking HUGE!. Yesterday, they had trouble getting on the roost so I had to lower it. Today, it's like, not even over their heads!
