More pics of the cockerel, I got some today while it was so warm and sunny, but, I only had my phone at the time, and he will not stay still...

The last pic is meant to show how he does not have a short tail at all, he has a quite long tail now, the wind was just making the first 2 pics look wrong.

This looks a very handsome boy to me. So far as I can see on the picture he has a very good even color, Long legs and some nice earlobes. The hen in the back on the last picture looks also very nice in type.

Thanks, Dan!!! Great bird with lots of quality. First an outstanding good even Buff color. Great strong heavy bones and body and in the same time stylish and elegance what a American type Leghorn needs.
Well formed tail, could have even more sickles ( multy feathers) Very good wing carriage. His comb may a little more los from the neck and the points a little more evenly placed on the comb.
But that are wishes to make this bird the Ideal Standard regular Buff Leghorn American type. This is such a nice bird that I love him. Greetings Arie

Hello friends, I wanted to say that my Buff Leghorn pullet began to lay recently, around 9-10 months old now. Her eggs are pure chalk white, of excellent shape and quality. They are also a nice size, large as pullet eggs, so I'm hoping for XL or better as she ages. She is a beautiful bird, almost perfect. I'll try to get a pic of her soon, but, she is very hard to photograph, she will not stay still for a second!!

Congrats with your first egg.
9-10 month old? Mine get laying at 5-6 month age. Maybe the weather is playing parts with that overthere.
I can't wait to see her picture. Greetings Arie
