Great thread! Very educational. I too am dipping my toe in the lavender silkie pool. I got two pairs off of Shagbark Silkies (the breeder whose pair just went for an insane amount of moola) in the fall. They are all split lav. Right now I have them set up as a trio, with one roo in reserve. One of the pullets has just started to lay so I'll be setting some eggs in about a week and a half! Yay. I also have some splits in a grow out pen I got from her, her and her husband are the nicest people. Got them young, so still not sure what I have sexwise.

Bren has an account, however, she stays very very busy with her job and all the birds and doesn't have much time. Deb also stays busy. You can get on their websites and email them.
