I'd agree with low blood sugar. Small dogs are sensitive to the size, frequency, and type of their meals. They can end up sick if fed too infrequently or if the type of food is changed too quickly. Most dogs do fine with a cold turkey switch to raw but with smaller dogs you want to be extra careful. You also want to spread the meals out to at least 2 if not 3 times a day for the really small ones. Once a day just may not be enough and they will end up with symptoms come evening unless fed again.
