Roosters living together?

I'm a first timer w/ 6 RIR chicks, 6 weeks old. Got them for the eggs, ended up w/ 4 cockerels & 2 pullets (nice!). I love my babies & don't want to give any of them away. Is there any chance these guys can live together or am I asking for trouble? Will the roosters need to be separated eventually? BTW... I ordered 15 Wyandotte pullets from Meyer that are scheduled to hatch June 6th & will arrive a couple of days later.

I'm in the same boat here. We have 9 and 4 of them are roo's. I was just gonna wait and see if they get along ok. they are about 8 weeks old and no problems so far except for a little bit of chest bumping and some stare downs.
Just received 26 assorted chicks from Meyer and all are doing well. Lost one the first day. The majority of them look to be Cochins and Bantams, but I'm still new at this so I'm not sure.
 
Most of the time they will be fine if they are raised together. It also may help if you have them out of sight of the girls. They will sort out their own pecking order among themselves. I'm getting ready to put about 20 in a bachelor pad myself.
 
I had 6 roos that I hatched together in a coop with 7 pullets (yeah I know

). They were all absolutely fine together until I split them up at 6-7 months old and put some in a batchelor pad where they lived quite happily until I butchered them.
 
If they are raised togther no problems yeah sure they will argue but for the most part what brothers don't argue over a pretty girl but if you intoduce any others into the mix the pecking will need to be figured out and that could get messy and violent for sure.
I have 3 in the same coop right now that I am sure are roos out of the org bunch and one for sure in the 3rd bunch the rest are wait and sees but all of them are living happily under the same roof (at least for now) until they are breeding age I do however have enough pullets right now they should not have a problem.
Besides they will be eatin at some point so it doen't matter if they fight or not I will jst put the ones to be butchered in there own pen.
 
So, if there are enough girls to go around will they all be happy? I'll have the new babies in their own brooder inside the chicken house so they'll be introduced before I put them in the general population. I realize the order will need to be established, but wonder if there is anything I can do beforehand to minimize damage.
 
We have 4 LF roos and 2 banty roos that do great together but we also have more than enough girls for them to take care of. They say about 10 hens per roo give or take. When in doubt order more pullets!

I have found that if they are in a 'bachelor pad' they do fine---but once they see those ladies, the hormones go a'flyin' and things can get yucky.

The worst part is when they hit the "Sneak-attack mating" stage: right when they start crowing. I have a less-delicate name for it, but you get the idea. If the bachelors have access to hens, it seems like they will wait for some poor girl to wander away from the flock and *BAM*, they stealth-mission her. Then the head roo comes to her rescue, knocks the teenagers over like bowling pins, and then has to re-assert himself over the hen.

The hen gets the brunt of it.
