Straw Bale Coop and Root Cellar?

Thanks for the link, I actually have that page open in another tab of my browser! It's about the only information I could find specifically for a straw bale coop. Good page.
 
I think this is a great project. I would have really liked to have tried something like this myself, but alas I punked out and built my chicken house with sticks. Maybe the expansion module will be done in straw.

I don't really have an engineering nuggets to add b/c I'm not that familiar with the technique. I do find it inspirational though.
 
Glad I could provide some inspiration! Now if I can just find my straw-bale building book, or my OTHER straw-bale building book, I'll be in business to start making working plans.
