I wanted to give my girls some vertical space. So we built a chicken jungle gym out of the scrap wood from the hen house construction.

What a great idea! They look like they are having a good time... and I love the little "snack box" you have there... great idea!

I too did the same thing to use some of the empty vertical space in my run....I was told by several people that birds are ground animals (tell that to my chicken who flies on top of my 6ft run) and would not use this sort of thing....
 
That is very COOL!!! You give me ideas and that is what I LOVE about BYC's.

All I have are large branches on log halves that are very popular but then there is all this wasted space.
