I'm trying to buy some really good Blue Wyandottes. I heard Trevor Nau had some great ones but when I called he didn't sell the standards anymore.
He did though, say a gentleman named Robert Wilcox in Missouri raised some good blues. Does anyone know how to contact him? Or have any good recommendations
for a breeder? I really prefer hatching eggs but would consider chicks..
Thanks so much!
Sally

Go to Foleyswaterfowl.com. The Foleys have some very nice Blues and Black LF Wyandottes. Great people to deal with as well.
They dont sell eggs but do sell baby chicks.
Our birds came from them and we may have some B/B/S eggs to sell later in the year. I would buy chicks myself just because better chance of what you want.

Ya? I've really really liked the looks of their stock. It's hard to find good type Wyandottes in less seen colors!

I am gong to try to get some updated pictures of our blues to put on the website. Hope to get to it before it rains again.

We kept the price of blues and black pretty resonable again this year to get them out there to other breeders.

Oh? Thats nice Mrs Turbo! I might just get some from you. How long is the wait right now for you're blues? I need to save up a bit more money (I'm 18) before I'd order them..

What stock are your chickens out of? (maybe that's a dumb question because I've seen breeders say their blues are from Foleys lol) I kind of wanted to get chickens from a couple sources though so I'd have more to work with etc.. Oh and I forgot about Paul's Poultry! I looked them up and they're about the same price.. $.50 more. Pretty birds though!

didn't get a chance to take those new pictures.
Our start came from a lady selling eggs on eggbid and then she disappeared. Was the same lady Katy got hers from. You couldn't find them anywhere else before now. We shipped a ton blue chicks out the past few years and they are getting around. They are one of the favorites when we take them to the shows.
We did make improvements on their size, color, leg color, & combs. They were a mess when we started and they still need a little work, but I like what i am seeing in the breeding pen this year.
We are shipping BLRWs at the moment, but the other varieties should be ready to ship in March. They got a slow start this year.

Oh okay I see! That's nice. Ya, it takes a whole lot of work. March? That would actually probably work out a little better in my situation.. I'm gonna finalize this with my family and see what we can come up with!

Oh, do you think you'll have any backlog when you start shipping out your other kinds? Would you need a deposit etc of any sort right now?

I do have a list going so if you want chicks in early spring you need to email me to get on my list.... [email protected]
got a picture today of our 2010 Cockerel that is in the breeding pen. He will get a little bigger once he is done growing. The size has really improved this year.
