Pullets sick with yellow discharge coming out of nose

We have 4 maran pullets around 2 months old. We got them at a show last saturday and we don`t really know any details. All 4 of them keep sneezing and have a yellow discharge coming out of their noses. We think that they probably had this before we bought them. They also have diarhea and they have been sleeping alot. They are eating and drinking just fine, we only give them grower crumbles and water. We put some VET RX around their noses and we tryed to give them some. We put them in a pyramid wire crate all together in shavings. Do you think it could be just a cold, or something else. I will try to post a pic.
 
Should i just let them on grass? Please help

Hi: Sorry to hear about your hens. Consider isolating them from the rest of your chickens. If they spent time with your other chickens you may want to treat all of them at the same time. It sounds like they have a "cold". Smell their breath to see if it does not smell so good. If it smells bad it could be coryza. Cold or coryza treating them with Tylan water soluble powder antibiotic for 5 day works for me in cases like that. I use 1/4 of tsp for each quart of water. Mix new solution each day. I buy the Tylan 100g jar from ebay for $49.95 including shipping. Type Tylan on the ebay search. I know it sounds expensive but I think it is a great antibiotic to have with your chicken meds. Watch if they are eating, tylan may take away their hunger. I give them meal worms at least one time a day during treatment, at least 20 worms each. The girls should love them. I hope this helps.

I smelt their breath and it smells like a cross between rotten eggs and a dead animal. I believe they have coryza. I am going to get that tylan powder. Thanks

If you are treating Coryza the chickens may get better, but they will be carriers of the disease always. Even if it is something else respiratory, it is the same. Many folks would cull in this situation. Did you have them separated from the rest of your flock in quarantine? Hopefully yes, because it is also very contagious. I hope everything works out for you. It's a very tough situation.
 
Yes we did separate them from the rest of the flock, I am just so dissapointed that someone would sell birds with coryza. So do you think we should just cull them?
