Is anyone going to Blanchard Saturday night that I could get some eggs to for Meusky? She'll be at Blanchard but I'm not going. JCat, are you planning on going to Blanchard? I could bring them when I meet with you tomorrow.

Also-OceansEve-would you be interested in a male out of this batch of Lavender Ameraucanas that Carl just hatched for me? There's only 5 chicks and I'm sure a few are male, I'd know which ones were boys by POOPS. I do NOT want to keep extra males, this is getting to be too much with all the boys.

Edit: They're from good bloodlines if you're interested in that sort of thing (I'm not).

Oceanseve, no accidentally drowning your poor baby peppers doesn't make me feel better.  Has anyone had good success direct seeding pepper plants in the garden?  I have some maraconi seeds I really wanted plants from, and can't find that variety for sale locally as a plant.

If I get one of those cool Wally World plastic topped seed starter things do I still have enough time for starting peppers indoors?

Was just sitting out on the front porch listening to the owls and coyotes.  No rain, no wind, and I even saw the stars.... ahhhhhhhhh....

I stopped by the folks where I got the girls to see if she could spare a chick or two because the little guy was lonely.  We talked a while and then she says matter of factly, "So you want five, right?"  I had to laugh.  Even for hatchery bird egg farmers, everyone is an enabler!  So I came home with five more chicks.

Little guy isn't lonely anymore.  Nuff said, 'Nite all!

You can start them but it would be June before they would be ready. I could bring you some to poops if you want along with some tomatoes. Or maybe someone closer will have some. Makes it hard when you have specific type plant you want and you have to start your planning over again.

I can't come to POOPS  hit.gif  I work Saturdays and wasn't able to get off for it, but I was able to take off for the one in June (can't remember the abbrev).  I was wanting to try the maraconi peppers b/c I have never had any success w/ bells, so thought I might have better success w/ a non bell sweet pepper.  I may have to just try some sweet banana peppers, but the maraconi's are like bigger banana's.

Thanks for the offer, that is very sweet.

Alright, we placed our miniature horse (mare) and miniature donkey (gelding) just 4 months ago or so and are taking them back because the couple are getting divorced. Both are registered but I never did put the paperwork in my name. Both are super gentle and super sweet and love each other. The little mare used to do pony shows and kids would ride on her. They're incredibly good natured and have never bitten or kicked no matter what you do to them.

Would anyone be interested in them? I paid $1000 for the 2 of them together but would take $300 easy at this point if they could just go together.

Do you have pics?  :)   How old is the mare?

Wonderful! That worked out great, didn't it? I thank you and Rebecca's AmerauCochin project thanks you :-) I'll message her to make sure she knows in case she misses it on the board.

Nektosha, I'm so glad the little one has friends. All baby chicks do better with buddies.

And.....I'm getting my Serama some little Silkied Serama girls just like him from Upcedayze (which I did NOT spell right!). I'm so glad about that!
