I don't think that usually ends well...

When I was growing up on our family farm, I had a hen who constantly laid triple yoke eggs but she would hide her nest and hatch them, it never failed they were all deformed and didn't live long

my father finally caught her and culled her, she was always so good at hiding her nests and we had a huge place with many hiding places. Since it was my hen he took me to an old farmer and let me pick out another hen, I picked out the fuzziest bantam in the lot

Now many years later and living in a neighborhood we have a small flock of hens, our oldest laid a double yoke, my sons were just amazed at the two little sun shines in the bowl

an acquaintence (sp?) of mine had a chick hatch--most likely a double yoker--it had 2 heads--2 beaks--4 eyes--but shared one body. It only lived about 10 mins. Amazingly a taxidermist bought it from her for $300. This was about 3 weeks ago.. what people will do...

Yes - its possible! We had a gigantic egg - it wouldn't fit into any carton or egg holder - it ended up as one impressive triple yolker!
