Has anyone used spray-on bedliner for the floor of the coop?

I am wondering if anyone has had a spray-on liner, like Line-X or Rhino, sprayed into the bottom of their coop? I just happen to own a machine for applying spray-on liner and was giving consideration to spraying the bottom of the coop to make clean up easier.
 
I haven't used it but it sounds like a great idea. If you decide do to it, please post pics and let us know how it works.

It is not cheap. The chemicals are quite expensive unless you buy in huge quantities. Still, it seems like a plan that might pay over time.
 
not only that but its quite textured would be hard to get clean compleatly i have it in the back of my truck
we got a load of dirt last year and still cant get the dirt out of the groves all the way even with a highpressure washer
 
The only reason I thought about using it was that it is completely impervious to water, most chemicals, and cleans up easily. Since it will not be exposed to the harmful effects of UV, it will not degrade and will have non-stick properties more akin to Teflon. Plus, I have complete control over how much texture, if any, I apply and it will help dampen sound. I also don't have to worry about water getting into any cracks since I can spray it up in a tub effect. Is it overkill? Probably. But I see much more overkill out there than what I am proposing. My biggest fear is that the chickens might try to eat it as they seem to peck at everything.
 
Very hard surface to clean up in my pickup bed and in a a coop I have no Idea How you could clean it up without a high pressure washer. I go to one of the coin ops with the pressure guns and soap and all that. How can that be done in a fixed coop?

I thought about using it when I built my first coop, but it was too expensive and would be way too difficult to clean.

I ended up just keeping contractors plastic on the coop floor and a deep litter on top.

When it came time to clean out the coop, the floor was still as good as new.

if its black im pretty sure not quite sure but pretty sure they wont touch it.
we had tar paper up around our coop never touched it as soon as we put visquine with installation up they ate it like cotton candy

i have vinal on the floor of mine and i sqweegy it down a vent hole when i clean it. but the last time my daughter threw a fit when i told her to go clean it she ripped it with a shovel

so now i have to figure out how to fix that!!!
anyways GOOD IDEA!! i think keeping it compleatly water proof is a great idea still trying to get mine up next year im putting that white walling that goes in bathrooms and kitchens so i can spray and wipe down

I have it in the bed of my truck and I think spraying it in the coop is a great idea.

I doubt the chickens will try to eat it and even if they did I think it would be nearly impossible for them to remove a chunk to eat.

As far as cleaning it, it will never need to be clean enough to eat off of and if you minimize the texture it will be just as good as any other material you would install.

Go for it!
