Who's chickens are afraid of snow?

My chickens don't like snow. So far we have only had a few inches that didn't stay. they may live in the barn this winter.
 
It snowed here in UK last night. Not much, about 2 inches. One of my hens, who hates the cold, has been standing hunched up in the run. I have been trying to encourage her to eat, without success until now. She has finally tucked into dry rolled oats mixed with raisins. Roll on the spring!
 
I find that if I shovel a little area in the outside run that they'll venture out. I think this also gives them to courage to check out the snow and maybe down the line you won't have to shovel. Worth a try.
