Okay so just this morning one of my five week old Khaki campbells started "flopping" across the yard. I usually let them out during the day and have not had any problems so far. But she, I think she's a she don't know for sure yet, is laying in the grass and when she wants to move is pushing her body across the grass with one great motion of her legs. She has no problem getting up and walking though. I found that out when I went to pick her up and examine her, she popped right up like normal and waddle away saying "don't touch me you pink giant!"
I did corner her eventually and got the struggling duckling into my arms and examined her to much protest. I found no visible signs of injury anywhere on her. When I put her back down she ran right back to her siblings and flopped back on the grass where she resumed her odd behaviour. She is showing no signs of pain or stress and is eating and drinking without issue.
Has anyone else encountered this before? Could this just be growing pains? Mabye her upper body is growing faster than her legs muscles can handle?
