Same Hen? Different Eggs?

SO HERE IS A COUPLE OF EGGS I'VE GOTTEN OVER THE PAST TWO DAYS

CAN A SINGLE HEN LAY TWO DISTINCTIVELY DIFFERENT COLOR EGGS OR IS THIS TWO DIFFERENT HENS AT WORK?

I JUST STARTED GETTING EGGS LAST WEEK

I STILL HAVEN'T GOT MORE THAN 1 EGG A DAY

THE LIGHTER TINT EGG IS FROM THIS MORNING!

Looks like they are both from the same hen. When they first start laying, their ink jets (that apply color) need the kinks worked out. You'll get all sorts of funky eggs from new layers.

Sorry I don't agree. The pinker one looks just like the colour of egg that my silver-pencilled plymouth rock lays, and the browner brown egg looks like it comes from another brown layer. There is never that much variation in colour in any of the eggs that I get from my spprs. I think they're from two different hens.

The eggs I've been getting have been near perfect. Even the first one!

Of course I've got 5 other hens that still have to get down to business!

I'd say that the eggs(7 over 8 days) I've gotten are cute, light brown minitures of the eggs I'm used to getting from the store. I still have three others that have yet to lay, though another one finally did the squat today.
 
My girls will lay eggs varying from pink to brown. Sometimes they have whitish spots, and sometimes they are perfectly uniform in color. All 5 do this. I think it's pretty common. If you pick up an egg right after she lays it, you can actually wipe some of the color off.
 
Generally shape doesn't change, except for the occasional pullet bullet. But shade can change. I have an olive egger right now that the shade of her egg changes every day. (she just started laying) My BR at almost 3 years will occasionally lay eggs with lavender speckles. (most of the time it's just brown with white dots on it) Darker egg layers like Marans and wellies have more variation in color than most of the lighter colored egg layers.

I was expecting the first eggs to be strange too, but all of my girls laid nicely shaped and formed eggs from the beginning. Then we had a hawk attack, and now we get at least two strange eggs a week.
