Anyone up for a Hatchalong?

You are very welcome. Since I had them out of the incubator I weighed them today instead of tomorrow. The one that is moving has lost 14.4% of her starting weight and the one not moving has only lost 9.7%. The difference in the last week only 5.67 grams. That was exactly where the nonfertile rotten one was. I am going to watch that one really close but I think it may not be viable. I am so excitied about the one that is moving!

Sherriff.....hope your egg is ok...even a drop onto a carpeted surface from that distance can create havoc inside the egg. keep us posted as to how the egg is doing over the next few days.

I tossed egg "C" this morning after doing all the checks to make sure their wasn't a chick inside. It was clear!

My hope now rests on the one that rolled of my desk yesterday. It is still wiggling like crazy today. Trying to buy three more eggs to set.

Sheriff I think you'r ok if it is still moving. I would think if anything bad was going to happen it would have by now.

I have been weighing my eggs and using the top of the incubator as my work area. I weigh one then set it on top of the bator and move onto the next one until all 8 are up there. I had to weigh my eggs tonight and after reading this I moved teverything to the floor.

good luck with the rest of your hatch.
