To get that color, either breed a WCBlue Polish or a Blue/Splash Silkie to a Gold Laced Polish or a Partridge Silkie. Basically go for a blue or splash bird on one side, and a golden colored on the other but try and avoid Buff.

For best matching results, use a blue hen and a gold colored rooster.

Araucanas, Polish, Shamos

Name: Flash

Breed: WCB Polish  X SS Hamburg

Age: 6 months

Personality: He's what we like to call a 'feral' chicken. He spends his time roaming the block with his Bro (coming up next)and wherever the 'feral twins' go trouble follows.

I just happened to be outside yesterday taking pictures ...

Samson, red splash Brahma, about a year and a half old, last checked 14 pounds and growing.  Personality wise, Sam's the king - no, a king would be below him.  He thinks he's a god!  He loves his ladies.

IMG_0074.JPG

Randy, partridge Brahma, about a year old.  Still very meek.  He wants to love the ladies but Danny Partridge, our older roo (in the background), just won't cooperate.  Nobody has told Danny yet that he's about to be retired and Randy is his replacement.

I only have one buff laced polish hen and a red silkie rooster. He seems to have some partridge in his history, so could that get anything cool like this? tongue.png
