8 Month old red star free ranger. He was suppose to be a hen. Happy he wasn't. He is always between the two chocolate labs and his 13 hens and will jump in the face of these bird dogs if they get to close. He is easy to handle and eats from your hand. Had this full view shot of Clay on my phone.

OK, my official entry is Maki the Magnificent. (Yokohama). He's about 2 years old and I've only had him for 2 weeks, but he seems fairly sweet so far (not cuddly but definitely not aggressive). I have to go out to look at him many times a day to feast my eyes on his gorgeousness. Did I mention his crow sounds like a kazoo?

(and I'm a small flock owner too--out of 13 chickens, I now have 4 roos. go figure!)
