Does anyone know of any hatcheries or folks selling baby chicks in central Kentucky, the Lexington area?

After my order from McMurray arrived dead I would like to buy them locally.

Go online to Google and in the search bar type in:  Chicken Hatchery in Kentucky and you will find some, or at least some close to you.  Good luck!!!

Mom to 3 Welsh Harlequin ducks, a Barred Rock, a Buff Orphington, 2 Rhode Island Red chickens, plus two miniature daschunds and a wonderful husband who is very supportive of my new 2011 eggers.

I have blue and black wyandotte chicks from newly hatched to 1 months old.  I also have some black- blue laced red wyandotte chicks.  They'll look like gold laced when adult.  All are straight run only.  I can't auto sex them.  I have a few barred rocks and buff orpingtons that I bought as eggs from ebay.  They're hatching right now.

Chick days at Tractor Supply will be starting soon.  I think they get their chicks from Mt Healthy in Ohio.  There is also a game hatchery in Somerset but they have some chickens.  I ordered Easter Eggers from them a few years ago.

Southern States has chicken swaps about every month, also there is an indoor flea market on Bryan Station that sometimes has chickens for sale from farmers on Saturdays. Hope this helps. Check out Cluck, a local club for Lexington Chicken Keepers. I am starting my very first flock too!
