It is true. I have had birds come back (especially if you have others they have been penned with). Best of luck in getting him back. That is why I have gone to a two door system for most of my birds.

Well, he didn't actually "come back" he had never really left the neighbor's yard that I saw him fly into. He was just hiding under there large pine trees that have good underbrush. And he probably didn't miss ME as much as he missed the easy food.... and his buddy. I'm happy either way!
