I started with a mated pair of Lavender Orpintons who had just turned 5 months old, My hen just started laying and was laying an egg a day and just a little while ago ( about 2 weeks ) I was given 3 easter Eggers. I quarintined the 3 for a short time ( a little over a week ) to make sure they were healthy and when I introduced them all to each other it went good, my Rooster was Stoked to say the least! The 3 Easter Eggers stopped laying when I brought them home, and I figured it was due to the stress of the move, but since I introduced them to my Orpington she has stopped laying too, so now I have 4 hens that have stopped laying. My Orpington hen seems to be a little jealous of the new hens too, everytime the roo goes near them she sprints over in front of him and tries to get his attention. Does any of this sound normal? should I seperate the hens again?
