I just figure I should let everyone (in my area) know that Shorline Farm Suply is having a free chick event on March 10th. You much preorder them, go to their website (I would link it but don't know how, sorry) and order them. I think it is only 5 per house hold (there are ways around that) The only down side I saw is that the only breeds available for the free part are Barred Rocks and Road Island Reds. Also they will not deliver these chicks you must pick them up.
Now I tried going there today to make sure that I knew where the store was when I go to pick them up, but here is the funny thing. Their office is out of their home in Shoreline ( so the address givin on yelp is their home) the products they sell are delivered from their warehouse in Tacoma. The only things kept at their home is the hatching chicks and some of the pulets that are offered for sale.
But they do free delivery (just not on the free chicks) My 80# bag of chicken crumble layer that cost me like $28 will be delivered tomorrow and I just ordered it at noon today!
I do not work for these people, nore do I have any conection to them other than being a new customer. I found out about them threw a woman that gave me my most recent chickens and she lived in Southcenter!

I just want to add that another great thing about them is most everything they carry is from local farmers and local companies. Support your local farmers!
