For your information.
Count the campfires by glowing flames, never by the ashes that fall. Count your days by the golden hours, don't remember clouds at all. Count the nights by stars, not by shadows. Count your life by smiles, not by tears. And with joy on every birthday, count your age by friends-not years.

Oh, I wish I'd seen this sooner.  Glad you have 6 good eggs going!

I have a brinsea mini advance. I actually set eggs 6 days ago and have it going at my son's preschool.  I've been very happy with it.

I even had something go wrong with it and had to send it back to Brinsea for repairs. They were great to work with, and I've had two successful hatches since then. The first one was SHIPPED EGGS, and I had 6/7 eggs hatch. The 7th was fully formed, but never hatched.  The second hatch, I had 5/7 hatch. Of the duds, one wasn't fertile and one died about 6-7 days in. One day I saw it wiggling around, and the next it was gone.

I'm dying to candle to see how my latest batch is going, but I think it'd be really hard at a busy preschool. :-/

Unfortunately mine didn't hatch at all for some reason the same problem as last year. All died around day 19.

Last year I took it back to the store they adjusted the calibration and then had a good hatching. I will reset the machine this time myself and have new go.

Well the problem was the thermostat in the bator. They've replaced it so now I really hope that this was my last problem with it.

In the mean time one of my friends offered her broody hen up and there's one little baby chick born this morning :) I hope for more of course!!
