I was cleaning out chicken area and notice one of my chickens has a running nose poor thing.
i bought the stuff to put in the water just wondering how long till your chickens are ok.? from your chickens?
 
One of our five-week old chicks just sneezed (!!) twice and had a little bubble of clear mucus out of her nose, so I'm wondering about the same thing. Doesn't seem to be particularly sick, but should we be watching for something? There are 3 other 5-week old chicks (Speckled Sussex and Rhode Island Reds) and two 2-week old Australorps in the same big box. They all seem to be well otherwise... Help?
 
I have spoken to a local farmer. They told me to use crushed Garlic and mix it through their water.
It is also good for your healthier chicks.
As for such lil bubs i wouldn't use too much garlic to be on the safe side.
 
More on the Garlic there was an over night difference they wonder alot more, all happy now:)
