I keep my humidity in the 60's and I don't do the lockdown, I keep turning the eggs until they start pipping then I leave them alone. I will say once they start pipping I do turn the hole straight up then its up to them. I hatched 30 out of 40 shipped guinea eggs for a friend which I though was great. LOL
