Shoes.

I think they're butt-ugly! Last I looked, I was human as well as female. No human being's feet are shaped like that or were meant to be jacked up at that awkward angle while walking.

I don't get the fascination women have with shoes. To me, having to get a new pair of shoes is sheer torture! I hate having to shop for them, hate being a prisoner of someone else's idea of style, etc.

Me too...I spend my life in tennis shoes and I buy three pair of the same kind when I shop so I won't have to go and do it all again for several years. The extent of my shoes are this: tennis shoes(men's...they are wider and more comfy than women's), one pair of men's loafer style "dress"shoes(I've had those for 5 yrs), one pair of leather sandals(again..mens..had those for 5 years too). That's all I currently possess. I don't feel a bit deprived and my feet thank me for the comfort!

When young things who think they are the first to discover what I have known for decades call me old, I point out to them that I've made it to this age. They have to live with some uncertainty as to whether they will be able to say that. Reflect their jibes about mortality back at them.

I think they are cute, except the ones with completely solid soles.

That being said...I can't wear shoes like that. I have large, wide feet; and nobody makes shoes that look like that for girls with big feet. I do wear high heels, but they are never stilletos. Sometimes is just fun to be over 6' tall, which I am with any substantial heel.

I think every girl should have at least one pair of naughty shoes, for no other reason than their guys really like them.

Hey, I kept it family friendly.
