Chicken sprained leg?

Hi,

I am new to this forum and new to keeping chickens. Doris my 24 week old Maran has started limping I have checked her foot and all appears fine. She is eating drinking and laying as normal. Any ideas??

It sounds like you've done your best to make sure the problem isn't an infection of the foot. Chickens sprain their legs sometimes, it's just a fact of life.

She'll heal on her own in just a few days. Chickens heal REALLY fast. Just keep an eye on her to make sure she's improving and able to reach food and water.
