Its day 9 on my goose eggs. Half of the egg is dark and the other half is clear. Are they bad? :/

What do you mean by 'dark'. Are the eggs actually discolored, or are you seeing the 'darkness' upon candling?

You guys aren't understanding what i'm trying to explain. I know what the air sack looks like. It looks something like this.

Well you SHOULD still see it moving...so while you're candling look closely. my turkey eggs look like that, but I can always see movement..the one's that I didn't see movement ended up to be dead inside.

At day 9 I should see movement? I hope their not dead. I have 9 eggs and they all look strange with different shape masses floating around inside. I'll check later. Thanks guys!

Oh, I just reread your post, I didn't see the part about it only being 9 days...NO, it shouldn't look that at day 9 of incubation, mine didn't start to get half darkened like that until somewhere between day 15-20. i've never had a rotten or bad egg so I don't know what that would look like. Where did you get your eggs from, it could be possible that it is further along in the incubation period than the others ??? ..but again, LOOK FOR MOVEMENT

Yes, at day 9 you can see movement, but it will only be a small little black dot bouncing around, the egg in your picture does NOT look like a 9 day old egg. Its just this one that looks this way right?
