does anyone no what color these americauna chicks will be? this is no really them but the one in the middle and the one that looks like the one in the middle looks just like them. thanks.chicks_ameraucana.jpg

The 2 chipmunk colored ones you're asking about looked just like my Daisy. The chocolate one looked like my Nutmeg. You saw those pics on my thread. Both typical coloring for EEs. Daisy will be striking once she's completely feathered out. I'll try to post chick pics tomorrow.

It's hard to determine since they are Easter Eggers, not Ameraucanas, and of mixed genetic soup, so to speak. They come out all sorts of colors, none of which have actual names. That's one thing that is sort of fun about Easter Eggers-you never know what you're going to get. Shades of Forrest Gump and his box of chocolates! lol.png

Um I have five of those! and by next month five more mabye.... but i forget what they looked like, sorry I will look at the pics i have

There is no I in Ameraucana. If it is called an AmerIcana, then you can guarantee it is NOT an Ameraucana, and instead an Easter Egger.

What's the difference between an auracauna and an ameracauna? And is the 'easter eagger' the auracauna? Sorry,, don't mean to hyjack the thread, but I can't seem to get an answer anywhere.
