Are their beaks supposed to darken at some age or is this new beak color a new symptom of their illness? it is on each of them and almost looks like bruising.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. I have looked everywhere for a close up ! It does appear that the cor change is normal. Thank heaven it's not another thing that's going on with their illness. I guess I am starting to get paranoid.

You're welcome. Now, you let me know if by chance you run across a picture of a black SF pullet okay? I have a little chick from a hatchery that was supposed to be a girl but all it's feathers are coming in black plus it just flat out acts like a little roo.

could you post a picture of it please? I am still trying to learn the difference and havent found a good pic of a young roo yet. This forum is so big searches give me sooo many results and I'm sure one is on here somewhere. LOL I have a pullett that is very very dark. I wanted to see how similar they are. :)

You know what? I'm going to start a thread with pictures to see if someone else can confirm my suspicions. I'll link it back here once I get it started so you can follow along on the answers with me. That way, maybe we will both learn something.
