So my babies are all doing extremely well (no losses out of all fourteen yay!) But now they are turning into little escape artists! I wouldn't mind if they could figure out how to get back in at 3 o'clock in the morning instead of calling for me to put them back in! Not to mention (so proud) A couple of the cockerals are already protective of their little flock and walk around the top edge of the brooder raising cane! would be adorable any other time of day, any who, any suggestions on how to keep my little Houdini's in?

I'd suggest putting a top on your brooder, or cage. I had the same problem, they start getting a feeling to roost, and jump on the top on the cage.

You could do anything to cover it, like wood planks, I used mosquito netting, good luck!
