Chicken feeder pipe installed in my coop!!! Have a look:)

Anyone have any problems getting the feed down.? I made mine but have to shake it to get more food down after they ate it. It's a pain! I made mine using 3" PVC same length about 2 feet or so and a 90 degree connector I hung in my run. On a kennel fence. I'm thinking maybe I haven't angled it right? Its not straight like the one pictured above. Maybe I should try that? Thanks for the input im new to all this diy stuff:rolleyes:

Make sure that pipe is straight:) Maybe take a photo of your feed and a photo of how you have it set up now so we can see where or how it needs to be improved.

Thanks, after the rain we had here the feeder got wet and i had to take it down to clean i'll try making it nice and straight when i put it back up, hopefully that will do the trick. Thanks again

No problem:) Keep us posted and if you can get some photo's of it up if there is still an issue so we can help to better fix it!

I love this concept. I am very new to chickens and love all the insight I am gaining from those more experienced. Can you tell me how the pvc pipes are attached, please.
Thanks

Use two 45 degree angles instead of one 90 degree angle. The feed will slide in easier and you can adjust the angle on the trough to be at a slight slant downward. Let gravity work for you.
