Kelp meal ?

I want to start adding some kelp to my feeds for my turkeys, ducks, chickens...
Couple questions...can all Kelp meal be fed to animals.??..we have some Espoma Kelp meal here at the farm, but I am not sure if this can be fed to animals?
Where do you buy your Kelp meal from..?

I buy mine from the feed store. Make sure that it is not a garden fertilizer- you want it to be for animals.

Don't give more than 2% or so kelp meal in the feed from what I have read.

Went to my local Agway today, and the guy there says...yes they sell the Espoma Kelp Meal, but it isn't listed as food grade so he couldn't reccomend feeding to animals, they do sell 50 LB bags
of food grade Kelp meal. So I guess I'll need to determine what is the difference between
fertilizer grade & food grade Kelp Meal

I think I would look for two things 1) Feed Grade 2) OMRI Certified

I have used North Atlantic Kelp Meal which meats above two condition. Unfortunately, the place i purchased from closed their storefront and now I have to search for a local source.
